Big Smokey

The Big Smokey is our hip pack for all-day adventures. The pack maximizes waist carry capacity so you can have all the tools you need to go deep into the wild without weighing and slowing yourself down. It has plenty of room for the oops gear to sustain you should your 40 mile fast and light day trip turn into a multi day epic. I personally have a Big Smokey with core survival gear that I can sustain myself with for an extended period. Being prepared for sudden, apocalyptic, escape and evasion scenarios aside, it is also big enough to fit a 6-pack and some snacks or approximately 1 blanket, wet wipes, spare clothes and 5 diapers. The roll-top opening eliminates the weak point of most bags, zippers, and enables highly variable load sizes. The compression straps also stabilize whatever snack pouch, feedbag or water bottles you may have attached to the webbing/MOLLE system on the large, comfy hip-belt.
